A modern approach to an essential business function
Alcorn Financial is a family-owned bookkeeping and financial-operations firm built around a simple idea: important financial processes should be accurate, documented, repeatable, and accountable.
The firm combines traditional accounting and bookkeeping experience with an operations-focused approach to process improvement, documentation, and accountability.
Rather than treating bookkeeping as a collection of isolated tasks, we look at the system surrounding the books: how financial information enters the business, how transactions are processed, how accounts are reconciled, how supporting documentation is maintained, and how exceptions are resolved.
Our approach
As businesses grow, bookkeeping often becomes increasingly dependent on individual employees, spreadsheets, inboxes, institutional knowledge, and repetitive manual processes.
That can work for a while. Eventually it becomes difficult to manage and even harder to scale.
Alcorn Financial works to turn those recurring activities into clearer, more consistent financial processes. We document what matters, establish controls, create repeatable processes, and preserve experienced human review where judgment is required.
Family-owned. Owner-operated.
Alcorn Financial is owned and operated by Robert Alcorn and Colleen Alcorn.
Colleen brings traditional accounting and bookkeeping experience developed through years of hands-on client work. Robert brings an entrepreneurial and operations background focused on building systems, improving processes, and documenting how recurring work should operate.
Together, that combination shapes the firm's approach: preserve the accounting knowledge and judgment that matter while continually improving the systems surrounding the work.
Clients work with a firm where the owners remain accountable for the quality of the operation.
What we believe
Understand the process
A financial process should be clearly understood before it is changed or improved.
Document what matters
Important financial processes shouldn't depend entirely on institutional memory.
Apply judgment where it matters
Routine financial work benefits from consistent processes. Exceptions and accounting decisions deserve experienced human review.
Validate the result
Efficiency only matters when the underlying work remains accurate and controlled.
Keep improving
Good financial operations should become more reliable and efficient over time.
